Gisele, 38, is a supermodel who hails from Tres de Maio, Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil.
Born to parents of German heritage, she has five sisters: Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, Rafaela and her twin Patricia.
Bundchen was first discovered by talent scouts as a 14-year-old while eating at McDonald’s at a mall in Sao Paulo.
Tom and Gisele met through a friend back in 2006.
At the time, Brady was in a relationship with actress and model Bridget Moynahan, but that broke off after the two first met.
A couple of months into their relationship, the star quarterback found out that Moynahan was pregnant with his first child.
A difficult start to a relationship, but Bundchen stuck by Brady during what he called "pretty trying circumstances".

Recently, Bundchen has been in the news after she was branded a 'bad Brazilian' by Brazil's agriculture minister for her environmental activism, stating that she did not know "the facts".
In response to this the model stated that the "bad Brazilians" were the one's responsible for the worst deforestation figures in Brazil for a decade.
The deforestation rate had increased over 13% in a year.
Also, to counter that she did not know "the facts", Bundchen clarified in the letter that she had been to the Amazon, was a United Nations environment goodwill ambassador and had taken part in the launch of the Global Environment Pact at the UN general assembly in 2017.
